Importance of the specialization of judges for adolescent offenders in Santo Domingo Canton
Abstract
The general objective of the study was to analyze the importance of the specialization of judges for adolescent offenders in the Canton of Santo Domingo. The quantitative method was used to produce descriptive data. It was supported by a documentary-bibliographic review. In addition, the inductive-deductive method was applied. A questionnaire was also applied to a sample of 85 lawyers in the free exercise of their profession, which was obtained after applying the formula for finite populations, taking into account the limitation applied to the canton of Santo Domingo, which, according to the Santo Domingo lawyers' forum, currently has 1657 legal professionals.
