The right to psychological integrity of children and adolescents resulting from custody proceedings
Abstract
The overall objective of the study was to analyze the right to psychological integrity of children and adolescents resulting from custody proceedings. The study was qualitative in nature. In addition, the methods applied were analytical-synthetic, deductive, and exegetical. Interviews were conducted with judges and professionals with expertise in family law, so that they could express their opinions on the issue at hand based on their experiences. It was concluded that, in custody proceedings, the right to psychological integrity warrants judicial protection through follow-up after the resolution of the case. This hypothesis was the subject of the present study, which was verified through the methodology proposed.
