Keywords: Marketing, commercial education, information science education, (UNESCO Thesaurus).

Abstract

A Business Intelligence strategy was designed using Ralph Kimball's methodology, in order to have consolidated and timely information on graduates at UPEC to support decision making. The following is a description of the development of the stages, from a rationalistic approach to research. A Data Mart was developed considering the needs of the Unit of Linkage with Society regarding the follow-up of graduates, to which new Data Marts from other units may be integrated in the future, in order to consolidate in UPEC University what is defined as a Datawarehouse that allows having historical information of the entire institution.
