Puppets as a didactic strategy for the development of oral language in early Childhood Education
Abstract
Early Education in Ecuador essentially focuses on three axes of development and learning, highlighting the axis of expression and communication, since it is in this area that children's communicative and expressive abilities are fostered, manifested through different languages and tongues, with which thoughts, attitudes, experiences and emotions are externalized, enabling interrelationships with others. In view of this, this article is presented with the purpose of identifying the contribution of puppets as a didactic strategy for the development of oral language in early education. Methodologically, it responds to a documentary, descriptive study with bibliographic design. In conclusion, puppetry is an important didactic strategy and resource that facilitates the spontaneous development of orality, in terms of speech, enunciation and voice projection, enabling a better sociability of school-age children.
