Healthy pastries made with sustainable products

Abstract

The objective of this research was to measure the level of acceptance of sustainable healthy pastries made with local ingredients for conscious eating in the city of Ambato. The research was non-experimental and descriptive in nature. For the purposes of the study, men and women of medium and medium-low socioeconomic status were taken into account. The results Sustainable healthy pastries are gaining interest in the city of Ambato, but there is still much to be done to make these products better known and more accessible. Committing to local ingredients and conscious eating can make a big difference in the way the community eats. In conclusion, when comparing healthy pastries with traditional ones, it is clear that natural and sustainable ingredients should be chosen, as they improve the health and quality of life of citizens.
