Puppets as a pedagogical tool for the development of emotional intelligence
Abstract
It is necessary to implement strategic actions at the educational level to strengthen the socioemotional system of children from the early stages of school. This would contribute to the development of emotional intelligence levels that would allow them a better integration process, since reality has drastically affected and modified the lifestyle of all mankind. Therefore, the article is assumed with the objective of describing puppets as a pedagogical tool for the development of emotional intelligence. Methodologically, it responds to a descriptive research of documentary type and with bibliographic design. In conclusion, puppets are a powerful emotional therapeutic tool from an early age, since they allow children to express their ideas, feelings and even represent their experiences derived from their daily life, helping them to realize their emotional reality and to understand and solve their conflicts in an intelligent way.
